For those of you lucky ones who are playing indoor soccer this january please check your emails for important documents we need to get the kids signed up as well as send us your jersey numbers and sizes so we can get our alternate jerseys ordered.

Jamboree passing

Wow what a great jamboree that was!!!!!

we really had a good time depsite the fact that they ran out of hotdogs.
Did you catch the pass that Jadyn made to Tori that resulted in an ooo so close goal ? Great teamwork keep it up.

Jamboree Schedule

Our schedule for the jamboree is out

Our picture time is at 12:00pm

Our scrimmage is scheduled for 1:00pm at Albani MS Football Feild #2

We will have 30 minutes between the end of pictures to get to the scrimmage.
It is really important that we are all there on time for pictures so please arrive to line up no later thank 11:30 or you may not be included in the team picture.

We also lucked out this year and our volunteer assignment for the jamboree is to be picture helpers at 12:00 pm so thank you to those who signed up for this.

Weather

There were a few questions about when we are cancelling practice. So I thought I'd send this out to clairify.
As stands with the league bylaws whenever there is a spare the air day you can count on their NOT being practice. Other times practice will be cancelled include days that are around and over 100 degrees.
We love soccer and understand the need to practice as much as we can, but at the same time do not want to risk the health of the kids while doing it.

Under current rules practice is cancelled when the AQI is over 100 so if you sign up to receive alerts for this condition you will know ahead of time when there will be no practice.
Otherwise please check your email around 4:00 pm before practice to see if there are any updates or cancellations.

U8 Referre Courses

U8 is the last age group where teams provide their own parent volunteer referees. Be prepared to be assigned a game in which you will be the referee of your child's game. =)

Referee courses are available to aid those who wish to know more about this and the process.

This is a basic course on how to refree a U6-U8 game held on the field. Please wear apporpratie attire, whistle and bring water.

Welcome to the Blue Angels! We have a few players new players and are excited about getting to know each of you!

As far as announcements go:

1. We are in the process of finalizing our practice schedule and will let you know as soon as we do (practices will begin around August 4th.)

2. We need to get all the girls uniform sizes so that we can order our team uniforms.

3. Banner Banner ideas - start your creative engines and get going - let us know if you prefer to have a banner professionally made or make it ourselves.

4. Jamboree is August 23rd at Pleasant Grove High School - (yippee no more scaling the fence at Batey!!)

5. Cleats and Shin Gaurds - please take the opprotunity to go purchase a great pair of cleats and shin gaurds for the season before the first practice. (no toe cleats are allowed so we can't use the old cleats from softball)
